E1L-HA-WH
The E1L is an ultra compact, dual-output, extended-runtime flashlight featuring a virtually indestructible power-regulated LED emitter and a precision Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens. The E1L's pushbutton tailcap switch lets you activate the flashlight and select an output level: press or click for a 3-lumen ultra long-runtime low beam that's perfect for reading a map or navigating around a campsite; release or click off and press or click again for a 45-lumen high beamover twice the light of a big two-D-cell flashlight. The E1L's small size makes it light enough to clip to the brim of cap for hands-free operation.

Comments about SureFire E1L Outdoorsman Dual-Output LED Flashlight + 4 FREE Batteries:
Being new to high quality flashlights I thought long and hard about
what I wanted in a light. I chose this mainly because the runtime on
high is so much longer (on one battery!) than the other more powerful
models and felt this feature fit my needs best. I found I should not have
worried as it is brighter than another brand light rated at 83 lumens.
This does come at a cost & that is the beam is a bit narrow than I
like indoors. Its very neutral though and for that I'm happy.
This narrow beam is due to the "TIR" reflector used in this model.
I did also purchase the F04 diffuser and am very glad I did as its a perfect
indoor light with that plus it keeps the front protected. Minus 1 star
because its an extra item to keep track of. Build is superb! very well
finished and looks very nice too. A comment on the tailcap switch:
For me a real plus-you can press softly to momentary on and
just release and press softly again to access high mode. The beauty
here is at any time just press HARDER to "click" constant on.
To me this beats using 2 hand to twist a cap for constant on in a
light not meant for tactical type use. Love this light!
I do not like to destroy packaging on a 140.00 light to use it!
Whats wrong with a simple box? Also just wondering why this
made in USA product does not proclaim this proud fact anywhere
on the Flashlight???

IF YOU ARE THINKING [$] IS TOO MUCH FOR A 45 LUMEN LIGHT YOU ARE VERY WRONG.THIS LIGHT IS SUPER COMPACT, SUPER BRIGHT AND DUE TO THE TIR LENS HAS A NEAR FLAWLESS BEAM. 45 LUMENS FOR 8 HOURS WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY BEAM IS A MUST FOR THOSE OF US WHO RELY HEAVILY UPON LIGHTS AT WORK. I HAD GONE TO THE CHINESE LIGHTS FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AFTER BECOMING DISGRUNTLED OVER THE RUNTIME OF MY SF INCANDESCENT LIGHTS (IVE BEEN AN SF CUSTOMER SINCE 2001, AND HAVE OWNED 5 SF LIGHTS). I AM IMPRESSED ENOUGH WITH THE OUTDOORSMAN AND THE BACKUP MODEL THAT I RECENTLY PURCHASED THAT I AM NOT GONNA STRAY FROM BUYING AMERICAN AGAIN. I AM PROUD TO BE ABLE TO SAY ONCE AGAIN THAT AMERICAN SF QUALITY IS UNSURPASSED. MIKE
